Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules for using the Vocallie AI voice-agent service (the “Service”), operated by JAROHINA TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED. It is part of the Terms & Conditions. If you break these rules we may throttle, suspend, or terminate your account and cooperate with law enforcement.
1. You are responsible for your calls
You are the caller (or callee) of record for every call your agents place or answer. The Service is a tool — you decide who to contact, what your agents say, and whether recording is enabled. You must have a lawful basis for every call.
2. Prohibited use — you may not use the Service to
- place calls that violate applicable telemarketing, do-not-call, or consent laws — including India’s TRAI / DND rules, the US TCPA, Canada’s CASL, the UK PECR, or equivalent rules in the country you are calling into;
- contact any number listed on a national do-not-call registry without a valid exemption or documented prior consent;
- impersonate a person, business, government body, or emergency service, or use a caller ID you are not authorised to use (illegal spoofing);
- run scams, phishing, “vishing”, extortion, romance fraud, tech-support fraud, KYC fraud, or any other deceptive campaign;
- collect passwords, one-time codes, card numbers, or other sensitive credentials from callers under false pretences;
- harass, threaten, defame, or target people based on race, religion, caste, gender, orientation, disability, or similar protected characteristics;
- call minors, or knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) without a parent’s consent;
- transmit malware, distribute illegal content, or use the Service to attack, probe, or disrupt any network or service;
- reverse-engineer the Service, extract our models or prompts, scrape our website, or use our AI outputs to train a competing model;
- resell or white-label the Service in a way that circumvents our plans, or share a single account across multiple unrelated businesses.
3. Recording & disclosure
Many jurisdictions require you to disclose that a call is being recorded and/or that the caller is speaking to an AI. Our agents can announce this at the start of the call — you are responsible for keeping that disclosure enabled where the law requires it (e.g. two-party consent US states, EU/UK, India). If you disable disclosure, you accept sole responsibility for compliance.
4. Volumes & fair use
Plans and add-ons have documented monthly quotas. Sustained abuse — unusually high concurrent call counts on a small plan, rapid dialer bursts to random numbers, or usage patterns consistent with autodialer spam — may trigger rate-limits or account review even if you are within your paid quota.
5. Reporting abuse
If you believe someone is using Vocallie to break these rules, write to [email protected] with the caller ID, approximate time of the call, and a short description. We investigate every credible report.
6. Enforcement
We may, in our reasonable discretion and without prior notice: throttle traffic, disable specific numbers or agents, suspend the account, retain call data required for investigation, refund or forfeit balances, and report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities. Repeated or egregious breaches result in termination without refund.
7. Changes & contact
We may update this AUP as new abuse patterns emerge; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Questions? Write to [email protected].
